ABOUT EAST LEDANG

GATED AND GUARDED 

EAST LEDANG is a gated and guarded development, located in the heart of ISKANDAR PUTERI (until 1 Jan 2016 known as 'NUSAJAYA'), a brand new city on the South Western tip of Malaysia, only 8 minutes from the Second Link border to Singapore. 

 

HOMES WITH OPEN FRONT GARDEN CONCEPT 

East Ledang houses have no front gates and no fencing is allowed in the front of the houses (only the side and back are fenced in). This gives the development a spacious and very green feel. The development consists of terraced houses, semiDs, town houses and bungalows. The designs vary but are all of modern tropical style.  

LOTS OF GREEN SPACE 

There are 31 public gardens in East Ledang, each following a different theme, containing inter alia a small lake, play grounds, water features and special planting. Throughout the several precincts which are all connected, are several walk ways - perfect for jogging, cycling or taking the dog for a walk. In the evenings kids cycle and play on the roads and in the gardens. 

THE LEDANG CLUB HOUSE 

Many East Ledang residents are also members in The Ledang club house which consists of two restaurants, a tennis court a Spa, a gym, tennis and futsal courts, Karaoke rooms and a huge swimming pool. 

AMENITIES

East Ledang is only a walking distance away from ANJUNG neighbourhood mall which has several small shops, a food court and a MYDIN supermarket. In walking distance of East Ledang is EDUCITY with universities such as Newcastle Medical School, Southampton University, the Dutch Maritime Institute, Reading University. 5 minutes by car and you are at LEGOLAND MALAYSIA. A 10 minute drive away is Bukit Indah with lots of shops, restaurants and the TESCO, AEON JUSCO and GIANT supermarkets. There are two upmarket supermarkets not far away: Jaya Grocer's at Citrine in the Sunway Iskandar development, and BIG (Ben's Independent Grocers) at Medini Mall. Around 10 minutes away are MARLBOROUGH COLLEGE and RAFFLES AMERICAN SCHOOL. A nearby scenic getaway is PUTERI HARBOUR - a beautiful small harbour which offers some great cafes (such as STARBUCKS etc) and a diverse range of restaurants in addition to HOTEL JEN. Also at Puteri Harbour is a MARVEL DC COMICS SUPERHERO store and cafe. Roughly half way in between East Ledang and Puteri Harbour is ISKANDAR MALAYSIA STUDIOS (formerly known as PINEWOOD STUDIOS MALAYSIA), where the Netflix series 'Marco Polo' was mostly filmed.

TRANSPORT 

Part of Puteri Harbour (i.e. 5 to 10min drive from Ledang Heights) is the International Ferry Terminal with boats to Indonesia and in the future to Harbourfront in Singapore. 

The Second Link bridge to Singapore is an 8 minutes drive from East Ledang.

There are plenty of buses within the region (a new Bus Rapid Transit System is in the works) and to Singapore. 

In the offing is a RTS connection from Johor Bahru city centre to the Singapore MRT (Bukit Chagar JB to Republic Polytechnic/Thompson East Coast MRT line) - targeted for completion in 2026.
